At the Aurora Clinic, we practice full spectrum Family Medicine. Daily duties will include providing family practice care to patients of all ages in the Clinic. The provider will also assist with the provision of medical care at the Stadter Center physiatrist hospital with duties including admission history and physicals, and rounding on patients for medical issues. Duties of this position include: obtain patient vital signs and prepare patient charts; educate and advise patients on medical conditions within established parameters and scope of practice; assist with direct patient care procedures and related tasks as directed; perform a wide variety of clerical support duties for the clinical team; initiates and completes all relevant documentation within organizational time frames; maintain, copy and file patient records and other information as needed; contact patients as needed; initiate and complete nursing notes; answer incoming phone calls and triage phone calls for LPN, communicate all significant clinical information to other health care professionals as necessary; confers with Physicians to obtain signatures on documentation when necessary; perform other related duties as assigned.

The Aurora Clinic, an independent Family Practice Clinic, is actively recruiting a Nurse Practitioner of Physician Assistant to join our Rural Outreach program team. The Aurora Clinic is based out of Grand Forks, , however a large part of our practice includes providing outreach work at healthcare sites in surrounding rural communities. Many of the healthcare sites we provide outreach services to include western North Dakota, where the oil industry is prominent and has a high need for healthcare providers. Outreach work includes providing clinic, hospital and low-volume ER work at critical access hospitals in the state. Provider must be comfortable with general family practice clinic work, hospital admission and rounding work in low-volume critical access hospitals, and low-volume ER work including vocational trauma patients. Full time, part time and PRN work is available. Live in-state or out-of-state! Outreach work is typically done in 24 hour blocks; length of shifts are usually 48 to 96 hours. A full time position would include a minimum of seven, twenty-four (24) hours shifts every four week period. Part time and PRN work would be anything less than this or on an as needed basis. The Aurora Clinic offers competitive compensation with moving and sign-on bonuses available!
